But after marrying my very country husband, something began to shift. What started as small changes slowly became a different kind of rhythm — one shaped less by urgency and more by intention. These days, with four children and a home that is often full and a little loud, my life looks quieter from the outside — but it is deeper than I expected. The work is ordinary: meals, lessons, laundry, long days. But beneath it, something unseen is always growing. I’ve come to believe that homemaking is not small work.
